There are blank rooms I cannot get through. The medals work though.

The second opponent has more hp, damage, evasiveness, critical hits, higher percentage of bypassing the shield and the mage ability, thus making even victory-clinching incredibly difficult. Why is it that Alula only has 9 kills after killing people and previously having 8 kills?

It's a good game with smooth sequences of death and good experimental flexibility. The medals don't work.
