A sort of learning game like this with no penalty makes this a no-stakes game. It might not fit the tastes of some, but it's fine for me.

For the American portion of the learning, it was pretty straightforward and less game-like, with obvious answers that made the timer trivial.

For the elsewhere portion, the answers are kind of obvious once you catch the drift, but I still found it worth noting the numbers on the answers and such. Some of the post-question bits were not as educational as I would have hoped (a lot of them repeat the same thing about 288 vs X number). I would have liked more trivia concerning the countries to which the questions reference (maybe talk about their laws and culture and how different they are).

Overall, this was an interesting attempt at sort of "spreading the word" using a game format that people are more likely to click on than, say, a movie about the topic. I find it inoffensive and a good way to get interested on the topic, prompting me to actually look up if all these numbers are real.

This gives me heavy nostalgia vibes from older Flash games with the button aesthetic and the simple text. And the writing is pretty funny!

The UI for this was surprisingly simple and yet also something I don't see much of. The music tracks are great and varied so you don't get bored.

This was a good level of platformer with shooting for a horrible player like me. The shooting was very good, as in the animation and sound effect. I also liked that the sword slashing was purely movement of the mouse, since that's an interesting layer of difference from the other weapon choice.
The slime graphic is cute. Backgrounds and other arts are fine since the gameplay is the forefront of this, I assume.
There were moments I got stuck just a bit. I was expecting the tutorial to tell me how to open the door instead of reading it from the game description. Also, when I got to the skulls section, I shot at them to test if they were enemies. When they didn't die, I assumed they were just decorative, so I touched it and died. Could just be a me thing, though.

Thank you for your review.
The skulls were made to be confusing. This short game was made to test my
beginner skills in programing. I know I would literally rework the game in
the future, but essencially this is my first step in the game development.
To be honest I think this game is worth a second opus.

I will figure what I can do in the future.

But one thing is sure, is that I will make more threatning enemies
and more puzzles. Maybe a boss battle if I can figure this out.

This gameplay is pretty interesting, using turn-based sequences to plan your position and the little modes of effect add a nice twist to change it up. Just a few seconds in and I see she fell into the hole in the classic Family Guy pose. Love it.

This brings back a lot of memories. It is a shame that this seems it will never be finished. We can only speculate where the story could have gone. I do have a few theories based on the diaries and whatnot...
Theory #1: Rufus is an alternate version of the old man. This might better explain how he knows the secrets like the Chronoplast. It is possible Rufus is a disgruntled version that no longer wanted to uphold the stream of time...
Theory #2: Rufus is an alternate, time-displaced version of the Old Man's son. TOM mentioned he feels familiarity around Rufus, and finding out Rufus' betrayal broke his heart... It would be interesting to hear Rufus' motivation in this case. I don't think it's as touching as "I want to free my dad from his job."
Theory #3: Pliskin is an alternate time version of Rufus. It's a sort of trope guess at this point. There's not much support for this, but it would be interesting if that is what Rufus meant by how well he knew Pliskin.
Theory #4: Pliskin is an alternate time version of the Old Man. This isn't too likely, but Pliskin and the old man are both Timestreamers and it could be foreshadowed in the diary where TOM believes he is the only one who can defeat Rufus...

All in all, a few new characters like Jessup and his crew get introduced here, but don't get a lot of development. The gameplay is a bit repetitive when you have to click the items over and over again to interact with them in different ways. I liked the 2nd part a bit better, though the art and animation were not as good as part 3.1. Still, this is a fond memory of the flash days for me.

This definitely screams old flash ... even the way she's waving her arms like she's Pico from the OG game! Awesome

I definitely got "whack your boss" vibes from this haha! It's a great parody for nostalgia's sake. The limited number of options and some of the items I kind of wish had more animations were a bit of a letdown but still good.

The mix in the radio had some of that old Vocaloid song from Rin and also vibes from Porter Robinson. The Pico soliloquy was also a nice one. Best way to watch paint dry!
