This is a thesis I composed for no reason about the 3rd season of the anime Yami Shibai.

Yami Shibai is a play off Kami Shibai, or paper theatre. The animation style is like that of kami shibai. The third season's theme is "the other side." So, in essence, the horror starts when the characters progress towards a boundary of sorts, be it physical or no. The first episode, for example, features an actual wall which the MC, through dialogue breaches, and is thus dragged to the other side. The episode "Tunnel" features a pair traveling through to the other side and are trapped in the subliminal space. A more obscure one might be "Merry Go-Round" since it seemingly features no real boundary. One can consider the time limit breached or even the fact that the merry go-round turns to the other side multiple times before a transformation. Regardless a transformation is some sort of crossing over, especially in that episode. Toughies to interpret include "Rat", "The Fourth Man", "Cuckoo Clock", "In the Water", or "The Empress Doll", as they do not have clearly outlined borders.

All in all, the season was scarier than the second for sure, but the first remains the scariest. This season's theme was the clearest though. Maybe if you watch you can find other recurring themes.

Sorry for boring you.

Stuck between a rock and a hard place is probably the best description I've got for life in general. That's why you do this:

Finished combing through FF Dissidia and 012. Damn good stuff.

Unrelated links (They may offend some people, but they're just so funny):

It' a scary thing. Like what I feel is happening on this site. I can't tell if it's for better or worse, but from what I read from the people who quit this site, there's been a negative wind of change. It's probably subjective, but what are your thoughts?

Also, does anyone fear the obsoletion of 2D like I do? 3D is dominating media nowadays and I really would like to animate in 2D someday, but I'm afraid it'll be too late in the future.

Weird thought:

Why is a fungus the same name as chocolate? And how does the fungus taste?

The depravity of the human is seen from despair. Despair comes from many things that are necessary evils of this world. One of which is money. For money humanity throws itself away. One becomes someone else, losing their own individuality for the sake of some oppressive system.

A young adult walks for eight hours on end without wages. That's because the wages are solely commissions, so no commissions means no paycheck. The "training sessions" given for the job are mere recital lectures, writing down rebutals as if preparing for a debate. People who open the door often do not even bother debating, or even listen to half of the sample pitch the representative is supposed to read from. The job ends at midnight and as the adult walks home, s/he contemplates how much time was wasted on this job for no pay and thinks about quitting. But it's their first day, and their gut roils from the thought of quitting so soon, only to be called a quitter and failure. Suddenly their whole life begins to fall into place. They will never amount to anything because they don't possess any skill sought by the market and will languish with their parents as the disappointment they'd always feraed they would be. The only thing s/he excels at is schoolwork, which in truth doesn't help in many real-life jobs. The young adult runs home, crying in their dark room, sobbing quietly so no one hears. Then depravity takes root and human cease to be. Everyone should just be like me. And thus a villain is born.

Perhaps it's overreactive.

Has anyone had any political reps come to their door lately? This doesn't happen much in Asia, but I think it's a pretty shameless tactic. The people doing the door knocking muct be sooo embarrassed. I can't believe this might be my new job.

If there was no such thing as currency or value, what would happen, besides no need to work?

Possibly the biggest disease plaguing the internet. We can all stop this by stopping and thinking and researching prior to mindless debates. Thank you for reading this public service announcement.
