I was thinking about how shitty life as a student was, with no steady income and heavy workload, when suddenly I read the paper and I just seem so insignificant compared to the shit going on overseas and around the country. Since I like to focus in IR, let's talk about the waves of immigrants going to Europe right now. Like the NYTimes, I like background before talking about the current issue. So here's how the shit all went down:

During the Era of Imperialism, Europe went and fucked up just about every nation in Africa and the Middle East (Except Ethiopia, but that was later taken care of by Mussolini). The current crises between the Igbos, Yorubans and Hausa Fulani in Nigeria, Assad the Alawhesi in Syria, Libya, ISIS and Al-Qaeda ... It all stems from those expolits from the imperialist empires. US plays a role later disturbing shit by invading Iraq for "preventive" reasons. I'm not saying anyone needs to suddenly say "let's let these people in", but know that the Western nations were the ones all responsible for the bullshit going on now that's evicting these people.
