Today's political arena is kind of shitty because the gray area makes it so annoying. But that's good. Diversity is good. Now what about debates? In the US, it seems we put a lot of emphasis on character nowadays rather than issues, so that'd be an ad hominem fallacy. Is a person's character important? How are debates in other countries?
