News? Sitcoms? channels...ETC.

I think it's important to be culturally updated. One of the best ways is to keep up with world events, watch TV culture, etc.

Do you keep up with news? Do you watch or read a paper? Which outlet?

What kind of TV shows allow insight into real life? What kind of movies?

All sociologically relevant stuff.

Oh hell yes, though I'm really disappointed in what news you can get on the radio, it's appalling. I hit Drudge Report once a day, bookmark articles that point to the intentions of those in power :p I'm renting now, so I kinda gave up on local stuff.

I listen to the radio just because it's on. It only delivers sparse news on the average crash or burglary. My real source is the NYTimes. The Wall Street Journal is ok too. Soem peopl just gave up on keeping up with news because all news outlets hold bias and are skewed. I don't know if giving it all up is so smart.

So you're a subscriber then? That's cool. I think I had a subscription to them, but through my Amazon account, spamming my email with the daily code to get in.

Was really fun trying to find a livestream of the NY primaries, Fox and CNN were both rebroadcast by regular users... I tried to watch Fox's livestream, and got asked, "Who's your internet provider?" I'd have to log into my ISP's account, through Fox |: just to see it. Well I never.
